Yesterday about 12 o'clock there was a flock of about 50 Tundra Swans in a
harvested bean field just North of the Townsend Sewage Lagoons. Might have
been the same birds were on a flooded quarry by Hagersville later in the
afternoon.
On the way back from Port Dover on Cockshutt road two flocks of Wild Turkeys
were seen in an oak woods by the road. A flock of females numbered 60 plus.
Very close to them and intermingled was a flock of about 25 Gobblers.
