An adult Nelson's (glaucous x herring) Gull was found today at Ottawa Beach, 
seen by Paul Mathews, Tom Hanrahan and myself. Also present was an adult 
Iceland Gull, at least until an immature Bald Eagle came by to scare everything 
off! Stops at various points along Lake Deschennes produced a total of 8 Common 
Loon, 1 Red-throated Loon, 2 RN Grebe, 14 Long-tailed Duck, 16 WW Scoter, 1 
Black Scoter and 3 Surf Scoter. 
Directions to Ottawa Beach, from 417 take Holy Acres Road, turn east on 
Carling, Ottawa Beach is at the first parking lot on the north side of the 
road.
