Greetings!

Yesterday afternoon we saw about 8 or so White Winged Crossbills at Colonel
Sam Smith. They were by the parking lot and then winged their way to the
pines by the Power Station.

Other birds were the typical - with a nice make Shoveler in the pond and
lots of Red Necked Grebes. On the West side were about a dozen Coots and in
the central bay a raft of Scaup and Red Heads.

At Humber Bay East it was very quiet - Kinglets, Cardinals, and Gadwalls. It
was also nice to see the Hooded Mergansers - hopefully they will stay to do
their crazy dance.

Cheers,

Bernie
