Hello to all fellow Hawkwatchers
For those who archive Eagle migration I should have included in my last post
the times for the Golden Eagle flight.
3 Juv. GE @ 11:50 EST
1 Adult GE @ 11:52 EST
1 " " @ 11:55 EST
2 " " @ 11:57 EST
As you can see 7 Golden Eagles came over in a 7 minute time span. For some
reason this has been the norm at our site for over 13 years!
Directions; From the 401 E or W take Brock St. (HWY # 12) North past Taunton
Rd. to Spencers Rd. turn left to Ashburn Rd. & park by the second gate.
Follow the path to the right through the hydro tower once past the Cedars
take the path on the right up to the platform. From HWY # 7 ( Winchester
Rd.) E or W turn South onto Ashburn Rd. & follow the directions above.
