Thanks as always to out counters today...Colin, Ernie G., Jim D. and Tim. Weather: Overcast today...with not the best visibility. Never a threat of rain...and did try and break up but didn't quite get there. Temp ranged from 10C to 12C...pretty consisitent for the day...and the winds were light from the SE and ESE then back to SE. Raptor Observations: Total birds for the today were 252...of 10 different species including TVs (140), Redtails (93), a lone Bald Eagle, Harriers (5), Sharpies (3), Cooper's (4), a single Goshawk (juvie)and a single Red-shoulder and Golden Eagles (3 - 1 Adult looking bird, 1 - appeared to be a juvie and 1 - likely sub-adult). Non-raptor Observations: Another 15 Tundra Swans, lots of Killdeer, Am. Robin, Am. Crows and a single GC. Kinglet....and out in the field one of the Northern Shrikes was spotted again today.
