This afternoon, October 27, between about 1:40 and 2:30 Hugh Reid and I watched five Cackling Geese at Reesor Pond in Markham. Photos here:

Directions: Reesor Pond is on the west side of Reesor Road just south of Highway 7 and north of Highway 407. Note Reesor Road is closed north and southbound between Steeles Avenue and 14th Avenue until November 1st, so you have to detour. This is south of Reesor Pond.
