Observation start time: 06:00:00
Observation end time: 14:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Colin Horstead

Observers: Ches Caister, Eric Single, Jason McGuire, Jim Dunn,
Keith Sealy, Mark Cunningham, Tom Stewart

Visitors:
A couple of visitors today....Tom Stewart and Martin Lukasiewick...thanks
guys for your help today. Thanks as always to everyone observing and
counting today...Colin, Marguerite I., Keith, Eric S., Mark, Jim, Jason and
Ches.

Weather:
Not a bad start to today...but eventually the rain moved in and shutdown
the count at 2 EST. Winds were actually moderate from the NE for the day
and temps were even colder than yesterday from 4C to a high of only 9C.
Solid cloud for the day...though the counters could see the clear blue
skies to the west..but they never pushed across.

Raptor Observations:
Another very good flight with a total of 1,997 birds ...with a strong start
as birds that had roosted last night in the area got up and going early.

A very good flight of Harriers in the first couple of hours was a nice
surprise with a total of (66) for the day..and the Kestrels had another
push (391) and were on the move at first light s well.

Other species in today's count... Osprey (1), Sharpies (615), Cooper's
(15), a couple more Red-shoulders, a small flight of BW's (20), a lone
Redtail, and a couple more Merlin. Thanks to the heavier cloud cover the
flight today ws also nice and low making observing them a bit easier.

Non-raptor Observations:
No report was made today on "Other" observations.

Predictions:
monday is looking like a bit of a washout. :( But things are looking up
for Tuesday and Wednesday.
