This afternoon at 5:00 the juvenile Sabine's Gull was still about 200 yards
east of Ottawa Beach. It spent most of its time loafing on the water or feeding
on flies on shore. It flew occasionally but not far. It is quite tame and flew
towards us and passed about 10 feet off shore at one point.
