In a field south of Tilbury with large puddles this afternoon there was a large flock (over 100) of plovers. Most of them were A. Golden Plovers. Also seen were a few Least Sandpipers, Semi-palmated
Sandipers, Pectoral Sandpipers and one Short-billed Dowitcher.


Directions: From the main intersection in Tilbury go south on Queen Street to County Road 46. Turn right on County road 46(Middle Road) go 2.7 km. to Richardson Side Road. Turn left (south) and go 6.5 km. Look for a field on the East side of Richardson Side Road.
