Just a short time ago 5 Sabines Gulls were seen from the Lakeland Centre. They were sitting on the water far out from shore when I left at 315. A scope was necessaey. Also a juv Long-tailed Jaeger made a close fly by about 245. Earlier today Brandon and Eric Holden has 18 Sabines Gulls land behind their zodiac out on the lake.
Cheers Cheryl Edgecombe Directions to Van Wagners Beach: Take the Centennial Parkway (Hwy.20) exit from the QEW in east Hamilton and proceed north to the North Service Rd., turn left and continue west as it turns into Van Wagners Beach Road. Continue to the parking lots at either Hutch's Restaurant or the Lakeland Centre viewing tower and view the lake anywhere near here.
