At 7 PM Sat. evening, Hans VanderZweep and I saw two Wilson's phalaropes in the southeast cell at the Winchester sewage lagoons. There was a blue-wing teal in the nothern cell and several hooded mergansers in the same cell. There was a collection of shore birds and ducks including one gadwall in the southeast cell also. To get to the lagoons, exit highway 31 going east on Liscomb Rd. Go straight to the Lagoons on the south side of the road. Liscomb connects with conc. #3 or Ottawa St. coming from Winchester. Good birding. Bob Scranton _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
