At 9 am this morning Saturday Aug 20 2011 a Red-Necked Phalarope was present at the Tilbury Lagoons.It was in the smaller pond just to the west of the large main pond.Park the car at the end of the main entrance and walk straight back.There are several species of shorebirds there including a Stilt Sandpiper this morning

From Chatham area take 401 east-- get off at exit 63 -- continue on Queens Line to Tilbury at the traffic lights turn right (north) onto Queen St North for 2 or 3km then turn left onto Concession Rd 3 the lagoons will be on your left 4 or 5 km down the road
