Hey birders,
The avocet was still present, hanging out on the only exposed bit of mud/sand
in the middle of the main lagoon at Tilbury, at 8:45 when I left this evening.

The Tilbury lagoons are located just off of HWY 401. Take exit 56 and head west
on Mill Street (HWY 42) a few hundreds meters. Turn right (north) on Richardson
Side Road, which is directly opposite the gas station. At the end of the road,
turn right (east) onto Concession Road 3. The lagoons will be on your right
(south) after about a kilometre.
