Hello Birders; The American Avocet was seen Friday evening by several birders. The water is drying up in the sod farm. The bird was gone today. For additional interest, the fish was gone too. Last night's birders spotted a bald eagle in the trees at the edge of the sod. That would have been some sight to see the bird carry it of as the fish was very big.
Sorry for those who missed the Avocet, it was beautiful.
