At 6:50 this morning while scoping from the viewing platform at the start of the Owen Point trail (old beach 4) at Presquile Provincial Park I watched a single Marbled Godwit walk from the water's edge at Beach 2 across the sand flats and into the back-beach vegetation, then fly briefly over the water and repeat the walk a little closer (Beach 3), at which point it lifted off and flew directly east.
Presquile Beach is in Presquile Provincial Park, accessed from the Brighton exit off the 401. Posted from the Brighton Inn.
