An ibis reported flying around Oshawa Second Marsh  and nearby Jim's Pond was 
in the afternoon seen well and identified as an adult White-faced by Jay 
Vandergaast. Not seen later, may still be present. A great many migrants of 
many species from juncos to Connecticut were grounded in Durham Region along 
the lakefront in near perfect grounding conditions, ~25 spp of warblers were 
reported at Thickson's Woods.

At Nonquon Sewage Lagoons were 85 Black Terns, 15 SB Dowitchers (hendersoni and 
1 intergrade).

The marsh is accessed from Col. Sam Drive in south Oshawa and the lagoons are 
accessed from Scugog Rd. 8 near Port Perry (with permit). Thickson's Woods is 
at the foot of Thickson's Road in Whitby.
