On my walk in to work this morning, an oddly patterned bird flew across my path & caught my attention. It was a partially leucistic crow. It flew across the Comstock Funeral Home parking lot & landed on the roof at Cox Terrace on Rubidge St. I was able to approach it and observe it hopping around on the roof for a few minutes before it took off again.

The bird was mostly black with only a hint of white lining obvious on the flight feathers when the bird was not in flight. In flight, most of the flight feathers were partially or completely white (all the secondary & most of the primaries). The tail was also partially white.

Directions from Hwy #115:
From HWY#115, take the Parkway/Sir Sandford Fleming Dr, exit. Head north to
Clonsilla Ave & turn right. Continue on Clonsilla onto Charlotte St. Continue on Charlotte St to Rubidge St and turn left. Parking lot is on left & Cox Terrace is on right.
