Birders, I'm currently looking at a Piping Plover at the very north end of Hanlan's Beach on the Toronto Islands (very west end).
To reach the Islands, take the ferry from the foot of Bay St. (Bay and Queens Quay) in Toronto. The Hanlan's Point ferry leaves every hour on the hour. From the ferry terminal, walk all the way around the airport fence to reach the beach on the Island's west shore. Also present are a Ruddy Turnstone and Glaucous and Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
