As of 12:30 pm, the Neotropic cormorant is still present at Muddy Creek. It was
feeding just North of the bridge that separates Wheatley Harbour and Muddy
Creek and then going back to perch on the far side of Muddy Creek with some
Double Crested on a exposed branch stuck in the creek. Look for the cormorant
that is physically much smaller and has a overall duller looking bill. The tail
is longer compared with the body than the Double-crested. Even when swimming
the Neotropic's size difference is obvious. Good luck. Thanks Brandon for a
Easter special. Good Birding, |Jim Hunt Essex
