I flushed a Grasshopper Sparrow from the ground today in a clearing at Resources Road Ravine. This is not a regularly occurring species in this area of Pine Point Park and Resources Road Ravine (2nd ever record in 31 years of birding the area). Resources Road Ravine is accessed from Resources Road, which runs off the Islington Ave. north ramp to the eastbound 401 in Etobicoke. Also noted was a Rough-winged Swallow.
