Following on from Stan's post (I was the photog that startled the Egrets and 
GBH 
when approaching the creek), there were two/three double-crested cormorants, 
some hooded mergansers, common mergansers, common goldeneyes, and bufflehead 
ducks. Those hoping to see the egrets and GBH will likely be out of luck as 
they 
flew off in an easterly direction shortly after being spotted. They were 
located 
in the far right hard side of the pond if looking on from the pull-over bay in 
a 
recessed area of reeds - if they choose to return to the same spot. Weather was 
beautiful up until around 8am, when the wind really started to pick up and the 
snow moved in. Was having problems with my original post but hope this will 
provide some useful info.
