Don Mills just called to ask me to put the message out that a male White-winged Crossbill has been coming regularly today to his front yard feeders.
The Mills live at 1319 Pelham Road (at the corner of Vera Street) in Fonthill. Directions: From the west, take the QEW to Regional Highway 24 (Victoria Avenue) at Vineland, then south 16.4 km to Regional Highway 20. Turn left and travel 9 km to the lights at Pelham Road in Fonthill. Turn right and go 1/2 km to house number 1319 at Vera Street. >From the east, take the QEW to Highway 406 and travel 17.8 km to Highway 20. >Drive west 5.5 km to the lights at Pelham Road in Fonthill.
