This week there has been quite a bit of activity in the wet fields at the end of the 11th Line of Bradford-West Gwillimbury where it meets 20th Conc. There were at least 8 Tundra Swans, numerous N. Pintails, and a Sandhill Crane amongst the myriad of Mallards and Canada Geese, with two Marsh Harriers causing a stir overhead. I expect more cranes will appear once this little cold spell is over. Peter Wukasch Go east along County Rd. 88 from Hwy. 400 to Hwy. 11. Turn north to the 11th Line and turn right to the junction of 11th Line and 20th Conc. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
