After spending over 4 hours at the Ridge Road Winery, waiting for the recently observed Female Mountain Bluebird, I finally saw the bird around 6PM. While I was sitting on a rock, attempting to view the Vineyards to the west, the Mountain Bluebird flew right past me! I only caught a quick glimpse of the bird, and the colours that I saw in the short time that I could observe the bird as it flew past me matched Tom's photos from today. I was able to watch the bird fly to the East for 15 more seconds. The bird might not be behind the winery anymore, due to the direction it was flying this evening. Unfortunately all the other birders who had stayed during the late afternoon could not get to see this bird, because they had already left for the day. Thank you to the owners/workers at the Ridge Road Winery for letting me and many others go on their property the past few days to observe the bird.
