While many Redpolls, with an unusual number of Hoaries, are still at
my nijer seed bags all day long, I was pleasantly surprised (as I was
lying on my back doing exercises under a large skylight) to see a
small formation of Sandhill Cranes fly over my house in Mount Albert,
going in North-Easterly direction.
