Hi Ontbirders,

Before the coming weekend I thought you might all like to know that there is
a minimum of 10,000 Tundra Swans at Long Point this morning. The lead off
of Big Creek along the Long Point causeway was packed with swans this
morning (you could not see any open water), and they have since dispersed to
the fields west of Port Rowan and beyond. Hopefully the masses will stick
around for the weekend.

Other waterfowl diversity hasn't changed much although there are many more
individuals around, and the Greater White-fronted Goose reported earlier has
been seen occasionally.

There are also lots of other goodies around (Killdeer, Sandhill Cranes,
Brewer's and Rusty Blackbirds.

Please send any noteworthy sightings in the greater Long Point area to
[email protected].

Cheers,

Stu

To get to Long Point take Hwy 59 south from the 401 until you hit Lake Erie.
