After the rain & melt yesterday Big Creek overflowed its banks overnight. This morning there were 8 male wood ducks riding the current down the Creek & then swimming up stream in the quieter waters of the flooded field to ride again.

There was snow overnight (about 4"...sorry not good on cms) so there is a feeding frenzy at the feeders this morning, including approx. 175 siskins & the regulars plus 2 unhappy looking robins watching from the tree above (#905, just west of the bridge). Lots of sumac around so I'm sure they'll find food.

Big Creek crosses the 6th Conc. just west of Walsingham. I'm sure there will be more ducks by days end. Quite a lot of the water in the field which is coated in snow but that should melt quickly.

Flocks of Tundra Swans in the fields along Front Road west of #59 near Port Rowan yesterday.

Walsingham is on Hwy. #59, north of Long Point.
