This evening I spent some time watching for Raptors in my back yard, here is 
what I saw. Among the highlights were Two Merlins and Two Turkey Vultures.
Red-tailed- 3Turkey Vultures- 2Merlins- 2(Local) Coopers Hawk- 1

A reminder that the Niagara Peninsula Hawkwatch starts tomorrow at Beamer 
Conservation Area in Grimsby. Good luck everyone.
Directions to Beamer:To get to Beamer CA, take the QEW to Exit 72, follow 
Christie St./Mountain
St. to the top of the escarpment, turn right on Ridge Road West, and go
1.6km to Quarry Rd. Turn right on Quarry Rd. and drive 100m to the
conservation area. Parking is normally available inside the park. If
parking at the entrance or on the roads, do NOT leave valuables in your
