Two Northern Shrikes have been frequenting Colonel Samuel Smith Park in
Toronto all winter. Both were there this morning with the added bonus
that one was singing. It sang almost continuously for the hour or so I
was there this morning.
Colonel Samuel Smith Park is located South of Lake Shore Blvd W at
Kipling. Follow the Kipling extension south to the parking lot where
the road ends. Coordinates:
43.592013, -79.513266 (Or by TTC, walk south from the end of the 44 bus
route.)
