Birders:
We had a single Bohemian Waxwing, all by it's lonesome early this
morning, undoubtedly attracted by all the activity around the feeders. It
feasted on Juniper berries and stayed about 30 minutes before heading east
along the lakeshore.
All week small groups of Robins, and Redwings and a few Rubl have
been dropping in and moving east as well.
For anyone who is still interested in seeing the SpottedTowhee, he
is still in residence along with severel Eastern Towhee just down the road from
the main building here at Monarch Landing, (as per the original posting).
We are still entertaining fair numbers of redpolls and a few
siskins.
. . . . Better, Birding in Burwell...spring is in the air!
