On Wednesday night (Feb 2 at 7:20pm), I went for a snowshoe through the park and spotted the clear silhouette of a Great Horned Owl against the cloudy sky. He/she was at the top of a dead pine near the bottom of the zoo.
It's been a long time since I've seen a GHOW in the park. High Park is located south of Bloor St. W and west of Parkside Ave. in Toronto's West End.
