I was doing some road birding today with Kris vande Sompel. He calls it a winter raptor survey. Highlight today was a flock of about 250 Snow Buntings with a least 3 Lapland Longspurs. There is a strip of spread manure in a field on the east side of Heritage Road a couple hundred meters south of King Street (north of Mayfield Road) that looks like it will continue to attract birds.
