Weather: Cloudy all day with a few rain drops in the noon and 1:00 hours. N to NNE winds ranged from 5 to 20 km/h. Raptor Observations: We had a good raptor day with 135 sharp shinned hawks in the 10:00 hour. Three Osprey flew through in the final hour of the day. Thanks to Rene Kielbasa who helped with the count for several hours. Non-raptor Observations: We had two Solitary Sandpipers again today. Several warblers including Nashville, Black Throated Green, Blackpoll, and Common Yellowthroat. A Rusty Blackbird landed in a tree just past the tower during the final hour of counting. 9,100 Blue Jays today. Predictions: Rain is forecasted for Tuesday.
