Highland Woods is located in South London.

Many have asked for directions. Here they are.

Enterance #1(open fielded area with ravines) -From Wharnclife and
Commissioner's. Travel east on Commissioner's, and to the immediate
right is a small plaza with a walk in clinic. Park here. Walk about a
half block east on Commissioner's, just past the appartment building on
the right, and on your right, is the path. Take this path in and check
things out. You will come to a fork. YOu can head up straight, and
eventually come to the parking lot for the building I live in. But I
get good birds all the way up, and even from the parking lot. Or, at
the fork, you can head left, which takes you over a small creek (dry
right now), and around the ravine to an open area, which eventually
leads to rich people houses. This is where the Olive SIded has been
hanging out.

Next area is the wooded area. From wharnclife and Commissioner's,
travel south on Wharnclife, turning left at Highview Avenue East.
Travel down Highview, turning left again at Rossmore Court. On your
left you will see a catwalk. PArk on the road and head in here. Enjoy
the dense deciduous woods and look for thrushes and ovenbirds, and
other big forest birds. COntinus on the board walk, and it leads to an
open area in between houses, which leads still to another forested area
where the large vernal pool is in the spring.

Hope this helps!
