Greetings Ontbirders Today Maureen Riggs and I birded the Owen Point area of the park. A single WHIMBREL and RED KNOT were seen from the tip of Owen Point. 10 other species were also seen. 2 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS, 35+SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS,1 KILLDEER, 2 SPOTTED SANDPIPERS, 1 LESSER YELLOWLEGS, 1 RUDDY TURNSTONE, 7 SANDERLINGS, 38 SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPERS, 28 LEAST SANDPIPERS, and 18 BAIRD'S SANDPIPERS.
