The Reeve was not seen at the pond on Calnan Road east of Grafton Friday
evening.

However, the breeding-plumaged Eared Grebe was still in Cobourg Harbour as of
7:30 Friday evening. According to a local photographer who had spoken with
another local resident earlier in the day, it has been there for 3 or 4 days.
It was swimming close to shore in front of the Cobourg Yacht Club, affording
spectacular views without need for a scope.

Directions: From Hwy. 401 take Exit 474 and drive south on Division Street
which ends at the harbour. Turn right south of Charles Street and drive along
the north edge of the harbour to the Yacht Club parking lot. You may park there
for one hour free of charge.
