Eight Whimbrels were observed at approximately 6:00pm at Westside Marsh on May 
31, 2010.  Birds were observed by Heather Pankhurst and Denby Sadler while 
conducting marsh bird monitoring.  The birds stayed for a short period of time 
on the rock island in the middle of the marsh.  Westside Marsh is located off 
of the Liberty St S exit from the 401, it is on Cedar Crest Beach Road in 
Bowmanville.
