A sort walk along 6th line of Erin Township, going north from 17th sideroad, has just yielded a few Spring arrivals, including Chestnut-sided, Yellow, Common Yellowthroat and Black-throated Green Warblers, a Great Crested Flycatcher and two Least Flycatchers, a few Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, a Savannah Sparrow and lots of White-throated and Chipping Sparrows, Barn and Tree Swallows. Watch out for a number of Red Admiral butterflies enjoying the early morning sunshine. Hillsburgh is slightly south-west of Orangeville, and west of the village of Erin. Good Birding. Paloma Plant
