Hey Birders,

Today there was a fair bit of activity throughout the island. The female Blue
Grosbeak continues at Sheridan's Point. This is the 3rd day it has been seen.
Patience is required to see this bird, but it does give good looks.

A brilliant adult male Summer Tanager was seen just after 1pm today at Middle
Woods. This is the 2nd adult male in as many days on the island.

Good numbers of warblers were seen across the island, including several
Canada's. Yellow-rumps, Yellow's and Nashville's are still by far the most
abundant warbler species, leaving ample time for peak numbers of other warbler
species to arrive. An early Olive-sided Flycatcher as well as a Yellow-throated
Vireo were seen along the East-West Road, near Stone Road. A Prothonotary
Warbler was reported from Lighthouse Point last evening.

Whip-poor Will's are regularly being heard from the Municipal Campground and
along the East-West Road between the lake and Stone Road.

Good Birding,
Ken Burrell
