Hello- East Point Park was no different this morning from other sites across the lower Great Lakes. Below are some of the highlights.

Golden-winged Warbler - 3 males. One was by the pond 50 feet south of east parking lot. A second was south and 100 feet west of pond along waterfront trail. The third was just west of point along waterfront trail and still singing at 11:30 AM. There were 13 species of warbler today.
Clay-coloured Sparrow - 2  along waterfront trail near point.
Bobolink -      4
N. Parula -     2
Nashville Warbler -     19
White-throated Sparrow -        46
Veery -         3

East Point Park has a good mix of meadow and woods and is situated on the bluffs. Most bird activity is anywhere along the waterfront trail and the adjacent woods.
The park is roughly 1 km long and 1/2 km wide.

Directions-
From exit #387 of the 401 in Scarbourgh.
Go south on  Morningside Ave.
East on Lawrence Ave. E.
South on Manse Road.
East on Copperfield Road.
There are parking lots at either end of the park.
