A Coopers Hawk pair consisting of an adult male and a second year female are nesting in the western section of Pine Point Park. The only other interesting sightings during more than 3 hours birding were a Golden-winged Warbler heard (possibly a Brewsters, as it only gave two bzzz notes) and a Solitary Sandpiper. It was surprisingly dead for birding. Anyone wishing to view the nest should park at the end of Caulfield Rd., then walk several hundred metres along the bike path to where a willow overhangs the bike path. The Coopers Hawk nest is in that tree, on the right hand side of the path (if walking from Caulfield). Mark Kubisz Toronto, ON
