Further to my previous post regarding the yellow-headed blackbird in the east end of Ottawa, I have been advised it was spotted again yesterday morning in a cedar bush about a block from where I first saw it.
The area he has been seen is in the Queenswood Heights area of Orleans. More specifically, it is within the vicinity between Prestwick and St. Georges and Amiens and Des Epinettes. For those unfamiliar with the area, take Highway 17 East, exit off at Tenth Line Road, just before Sir Wilfred Laurier High School turn left at the lights onto Amiens. Turn left onto Prestwick at the stop sign. - Marlene _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
