Last night around 6:15 pm a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher was feeding off the bridge closes to the edge of the lake. It was otherwise quiet except for an American Woodcock which was feeding in a wet sedge meadow near the east end of the other bridge over the creek about 15 from the pathway.
Directions: Palletta park is located south of Lakeshore about mid-way between Walker's and Appleby lines.
