Taking a leisurely stroll through the woods this morning: 1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet - vivid crest raised 4 American Goldfinches 1 Song Sparrow 4 Downy Woodpeckers 5 White-breasted Nuthatches 1 Wood Thrush singing 1 Hermit Thrush singing 1 Willow Flycatcher heard 4 pairs Northern cardinal 2 Junco 8 Brown-headed Cowbirds 1 Belted Kingfisher flying overhead and rattling 2 Turkey Vultures and 2 White-tailed Deer less than 25 feet from the footpath.
