We watched the Western Grebe cross the mouth of the Credit between 8 - 8:20 this morning before it disappeared either into the yaught harbour or behind the old ship. Also in the harbour were the overwintering Yellow-rumped Warblers and at the west end of Saddington Park were the three Harlequin Ducks - the male modestly displaying to the two females. Perhaps with his plumage - histrionicus indeed - not much display is needed.
