On saturday morning, very early, there was a pair of adult bald eagles flying
in tandem over Lasalle Park. They were best visible from the top of the hill.
It looked like they were dancing with each other in the air! A pileated
woodpecker was also among the big trees.

Down near the marina were the usual suspects, as well as 2 American Coot and 2
Ruddy Ducks. A single female Hooded Merganser was also present.
