Not to beat a dead horse, but the Yellow-throated Warbler has survived the cold weather so far and was present at Bronte harbour again today. It gave fleeting yet incredibly good close looks to any birder looking in the right rock crevace at the right time.
My self and a few others saw it around 12:15 today on the lake side of the pier. Best to check the rocks near the yellowish tree/shrub and pay particular attention to any vines or plants between the wall and the rocks. Also look for droppings. Jon Directions courtesy of Cheryl: Bronte Harbour is located at the end of Bronte Road in Oakville. I parked right where Bronte Road ends and turns into Ontario Street. You will see the lighthouse on the east side of the channel to the inner harbour. The pier juts out east of here and is the only pier you can walk on. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
