Hello Ontbirders
The barnacle goose was present at noon today at the foot of Nelles St,
easily viewed from the park adjacent to Nelles.
Nelles is a number of streets east of the previously reported Grimsby
locations.
directions from Monette's posting, with my add-ons..
Getting to Grimsby: take the QEW to Christie street and go towards the
lake
(north). At the end of the street go right (this is Lakeside Dr.). This
street ends at the pump house: turn left into the parking lot .
To reach Nelles, instead turn right (south) and proceed to Olive
Street, go left (east) on Olive and then turn left on Ontario (going
north) , turn right onto Lake Street and proceed east.
Nelles street runs north to the lake from Lake Street.
Cheers, Happy New Year
John Carley
