The 28th Ingersoll CBC was held on December 28 in blustery conditions. Nevertheless, the species total of 61 was above the long term average of 58.4 species and slightly above the most recent 10 year average of 60.2 species. Two new species were added to the count list to bring the total to 114 species and there were two highest ever counts.
