This morning at 10:24, Steve Gilchrist and I spotted and photographed a male Common Shelduck at the east end of the lift bridge just inside the piers by the weather station. After 5 minutes it flew off in the direction of Spencer Smith Park.
The west parking lot at the lift bridge is closed due to construction and you will have to park on the lake side.
